JENNIFER CORLISS WINS!
The sixth time was a charm for Jennifer
Corliss, as the green-eyed blonde from Cumming, GA
swept to victory Saturday night June 24 in the 15th annual Resaca
Beach Poster Girl Contest. Corliss, who entered for the 6th time
since 1992, and had been runner-up in two previous events, added the Miss
Resaca Beach title to a host of others that she has accumulated, including
Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA, Ms. Hit the Beach! 1999, and Miss Superbowl.
Corliss walked away with $4,000 in cash, and will be photographed for the
2001 Resaca Beach poster later this year.
First runner-up was 25 year old Alicia
Hall of Jonesboro, GA, a graduate of Georgia State
University and former Atlanta Falcon cheerleader. A 5-10 blonde, Hall was also
runner-up in the Miss Georgia USA Pageant in 1998 and 1999. In addition to
receiving prize money of $1,000 and other gifts, she will travel to Nassau for
the Hit The Beach! Finals October 3-8.
In 15 contests over $123,000 in cash has been awarded, with thousands more in
trips and prizes!
