Breanne Ashley takes top prize!

Jill Lyons is runner up in annual extravaganza

Breanne Ashley, a 20 year-old blue-eyed beauty from Newnan, GA, walked away with the trophy and the money in the 19^th annual Resaca Beach Calendar Girl Contest August 21 at the NW GA Trade and Convention Center. Ashley was also the Round One winner at Killer Creek Harley-Davidson in Roswell (Atlanta).

Competing against 25 other hopefuls from 4 states, Breanne scored a $2,000 cash prize and the cover spot on the upcoming 2006 Resaca Beach Calendar. Runner-up was Jill Lyons, 22, a gorgeous blue-eyed blonde from Ringgold, GA.

Both ladies received beautiful one-of-a-kind $1,000 custom crystal heirloom trophies from nationally known glass artisan Ed Russell.

The event was part of the Dalton Bike Fest and, as the loveliest ladies in the area competed on stage in cocktail wear and swim wear to the delight of a large crowd. The calendar features sixteen months with beautiful girls paired up with fine Harley-Davidson machinery. The cover girl is 2003 contest winner Nicole Sawyer of Decatur, AL.

The 2005 calendar was photographed by Rich Drinkard from Huntsville, AL and shot in Dalton, GA. Executive director of the photo shoot was Huntsville photographer Dennis Keim.
