1. To enter, you must be a natural born female (it’s a strange world!) and at least 18 years old by June 14, 2008. You may be married, divorced, or single. You must live within 250 miles ("as the crow flies") of Dalton, GA. You must be able to perform duties expected of the winner, such as personal appearances, with advance notification. You should also be free to travel with proper advance notification.
2. Applications must be received by Monday June 9, 2008. You can apply by web or mail or personal delivery.
3. At least two photos must be submitted via mail or email, or you must let us use one we can download from a web site. The photos you submit should be of good quality and show both FACE AND FIGURE. Photos submitted by mail will not be returned. By signing or electronically submitting the application form you give permission for web site publication of the photos submitted, if we desire, on www.resacabeach.com and in other media to promote the contest, past, present or future. You further certify that you either own the copyright or have the permission of the copyright owner for publication. Your entry is not valid until we receive photos!
4. All information on the entry form is subject to verification by contest management. False information may result in disqualification.
5. It is possible that all applicants may not be accepted for competition. Based on the number of entries received, and the photos and information submitted, contest management will decide how many entrants will compete in the event.
6. You agree that photos taken during the contest or during official contest events, interviews, and photo shoots may be used on the official web site and video, and other places to promote the event.
7. You will be expected to attend the Resaca Beach Brunch / Pool Party Saturday June 14 at Zack Norville’s estate in Dalton. This is a special event for contestants, sponsors, judges, and special invited guests ONLY, and is one of the highlights of the day. Zack’s farm is not only beautiful, but also full of exotic animals. Time for this event will be from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM (time subject to change slightly).
8. A panel of judges representing contest management, photographers and sponsors will determine winners based on voting in both categories listed in (9) below.
9. Competition will be in two categories – cocktail wear and swim wear. One piece or two-piece swimsuits are allowed, but NO THONGS! Cocktail wear is sexy and classy party attire, but not formal wear like pageant gowns.
10. You will be asked to arrive at the event in sexy casual attire or change in to it by the time the doors open to the public at 7:00 PM. We will use this time prior to the actual competition for photo opportunities.
11. The grand prize winner will receive $2,000 payable upon attendance at the calendar photo shoot, and have the opportunity to represent contest sponsors at other events throughout the year. The runner up will receive at least $500.00, also payable at the calendar shoot. At least 12 ladies will be chosen for the next Resaca Beach Calendar. There will be numerous other prizes and trips awarded at the finals.
12. Each entrant grants sponsors the right to use her name, picture, or likeness in connection with the promotion, without limitation, on the internet, in calendars, posters, newspapers and other written advertisements and literature, and on radio and television broadcasts.
